Our Curriculum

At ABC Learning Center, we use Creative Curriculum, a research-based framework that champions a play-centered approach to early childhood education. This curriculum focuses on the whole child's development, adapting to individual interests and readiness through engaging and explorative activities. By addressing all key developmental areas—social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language—the Creative Curriculum supports a balanced learning experience that nurtures curiosity and creativity.

Early Achievers Program

At ABC Learning Center, we're proud to be part of Early Achievers, Washington state's quality recognition and improvement system (QRIS). This vital program is designed to ensure all children have access to high-quality early learning experiences, setting them up for success in school and life. Early Achievers helps us achieve this by:

Thanks to a complex needs grant, we're excited to offer yoga to all our children at each center, further enhancing their well-being and development!

Growing Together for Every Child

At ABC Learning Center, we believe that when families, teachers, and children work together, every child can thrive. That’s why we created ABC Connections—a program designed to support your child’s development by strengthening the connection between home and school.

Through ABC Connections, we:

Collaborate with teachers to understand how children are learning, playing, and growing in the classroom.
Offer guidance and tools to support children’s social, emotional, and behavioral development in nurturing and age-appropriate ways.
Partner with families to share observations, celebrate progress, and work together in any areas where extra support might help.
Create a space for open conversation—because we believe parents know their children best, and we value your voice.

In addition, we have an in-house child therapist with an early-learning background who is available to help with developmental concerns. Our therapist can:

Observe your child in the classroom setting.
Work alongside teachers to provide strategies tailored to your child’s needs.
Offer referrals when additional support may be beneficial.
Be a resource to listen, guide, and help make your child’s journey smoother and more supported.

Whether your child is adjusting to a new classroom, exploring friendships, or learning how to express big feelings, ABC Connections is here to walk alongside you and your child with care and intention. Together, we can create strong foundations for learning.

Holiday Donation Drive Update

Our ABC Learning Center community came together this holiday season to support local families in need. Thanks to the generosity of our families, staff, and communities, we proudly collected 640 pounds of donations companywide, including food, clothing, and toys. These contributions reflect the compassion and care that define our ABC family and the meaningful impact we can make when we work together.
