As both a parent and an educator, Mariah Alex brings a deep understanding of what families need from an early learning environment — a place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to grow. A proud mother of three, she relates personally to the joys and challenges of parenting across all stages of childhood.

Mariah Alex brings over a decade of experience in early childhood education, including leadership roles at schools inspired by the Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Rasmussen College, along with degrees in Mathematics Education and Professional Violin Performance from Belarus.

Her approach to early education combines structure, creativity, and compassion to nurture each child’s individual development. She is passionate about creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where every child — and every family — feels seen, valued, and supported.

Originally from Eastern Europe and fluent in multiple languages, [Mariah values cultural diversity and is committed to fostering strong relationships within the school community. Now a proud Redmond resident, she enjoys hiking, spending time in nature, and traveling with her family whenever she can.
