Welcome, my name is Susannah, I’ve been working in the early learning field for 12 years and hold my degree in the science of early childhood education. I believe the heart of school leadership lies in prioritizing the experiences of staff, students, and families at the core of every decision made. In my leadership approach, I work to foster a culture of support and open discourse where feedback from teachers and families is not just welcomed but highly valued. Transparency and communication are key values that drive my interactions with all stakeholders. I firmly believe that the best improvements often stem from internal insights, and I actively encourage input from those involved in our center. Beyond my day-to-day responsibilities, I work to actively contribute to the broader early learning community and seek opportunities to increase my scope of influence in the field. Each spring, I participate in an educational panel in partnership with a local technical college’s Early Childhood division and collaborate year-round with local coalitions and focus groups to advocate for positive change and promote excellence in early childhood education.
